The camlock coupling type A is the male part with a female thread at the rear of the camlock system. This version is in brass, coupling size 1-1/2" - DN40 - A150. Any female part of the same size couples onto this male part: a type B, C or D, or a DC dust cap.
Brass suits water, compressed air and mildly aggressive media, and runs smoothly in the cams. This coupling is made to EN 14420-7 and therefore mates with camlock parts from any other manufacturer in the same size. Working pressure is 16 bar at ambient temperature.
