The camlock coupling type A is the male part with a female thread at the rear of the camlock system. This version is in stainless steel 316, coupling size 5" - DN125 - A500. Any female part of the same size couples onto this male part: a type B, C or D, or a DC dust cap.
Stainless steel 316 withstands acids, alkalis, seawater and steam cleaning, which makes it the material for food, chemical and pharmaceutical duty. This coupling is made to EN 14420-7, MIL A-A-59326A and therefore mates with camlock parts from any other manufacturer in the same size. Working pressure is 7 bar at ambient temperature. The gasket supplied with it is NBR and suits oils, fuels and hydrocarbons.
