The camlock coupling type C is the female part with a hose tail of the camlock system. This version is in stainless steel 316, coupling size DN130 - C600. This female part couples onto any male part of the same size: a type A, E or F, or a DP dust plug.
Stainless steel 316 withstands acids, alkalis, seawater and steam cleaning, which makes it the material for food, chemical and pharmaceutical duty. This coupling is made to EN 14420-7, MIL A-A-59326A and therefore mates with camlock parts from any other manufacturer in the same size. Working pressure is 7 bar at ambient temperature. The gasket supplied with it is NBR and suits oils, fuels and hydrocarbons.
