Brass Compression Fittings

Do you need couplings for your heating installations, water and gas pipes, or industrial transport systems? Consider our brass compression fittings. We have a wide range of compression fittings available in all shapes and sizes, ensuring that we always have a suitable offering for you.

Why choose brass compression fittings?

Our compression fittings are highly useful when you want to install a system. The advantages of these couplings are that they are easy to install and are suitable for use as replacements for existing components. Thanks to the compression system, you no longer need to solder, thread, or glue.

How does a compression fitting work?

Connecting a compression fitting is very simple.

You start by shortening your system pipe:

Next, you deburr the pipe ends to ensure that the pipe can slide neatly into the fittings:

Then, you check the fitting for the correct position of the compression ring and insert the pipe into the fitting up to the stop. The ring should rest on the pipe so that you can then hand-tighten the compression ring:

Next, use a wrench to tighten the nut until it grips the pipe securely:

The last step is to check if the connection is properly sealed:

Disassembly

Do you want to disassemble a compression fitting and reuse the coupling somewhere else? This is not a problem because the compression ring is formed around the pipe, keeping it in the right place. If you use the couplings in a gas installation, it is not allowed to reuse the couplings.

Other couplings

If you are not looking for brass compression fittings but for different types of couplings, Techniparts offers a wide range of various couplings. Aluminum compression couplings, Belgas compression fittings, and galvanized steel compression fittings – Techniparts has it all. Do you have any questions about any of our products?
