Depending on the installation requirements, standard brass, chrome-plated brass, or dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) can be selected, especially where higher chemical or thermal loads are expected. In installations involving low-pH water or elevated temperatures, DZR brass is recommended to prevent stress corrosion or dezincification. Thanks to this broad applicability, brass threaded fittings are a smart choice for any professional or engineer seeking a reliable threaded connection with a long service life.
