In the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, hose assemblies must meet stringent requirements: hygienic design, chemical resistance, pressure and temperature performance, and ease of cleaning. This PTFE hose in DN25 (25,4 mm) with a 1m length is specifically engineered to meet all these demands.
The hose consists of four functional layers that together form an optimal hose assembly for demanding hygienic applications:
1. PTFE inner bore (smooth bore)
Smooth polytetrafluoroethylene inner surface for minimal flow resistance and maximum chemical resistance. Inert to virtually all process fluids.
2. Corrugated outer wall
The outer surface of the PTFE core is corrugated for high flexibility. Suitable for applications involving movement, vibration and restricted installation space.
3. AISI 304 braiding
Robust braided core for mechanical protection and pressure resistance. Working pressure 40 bar, burst pressure 160 bar.
4. White silicone cover
Pharmaceutical-grade extrusion protecting the braid and providing an easy-to-clean outer surface. White colour for rapid visual inspection (HACCP).
Both ends are fitted with pre-assembled Tri-Clamp flanges in size 1 inch (DN25) (to DIN 32676 / ISO 2852). Tri-Clamp connections are the standard for hygienic couplings: fast to assemble and disassemble without tools, fully CIP and SIP compatible, and compatible with all standard triclamp clamps and gaskets.
