This fully pre-assembled hose system for the DN38 size (38,1 mm) is supplied as a 10m hose with two professionally mounted Tri-Clamp flanges (to DIN 32676, size 1½ inch (DN38)). No assembly required — ready for immediate use.
Smooth PTFE inner bore – Chemically near-inert polytetrafluoroethylene inner surface. Minimal friction, no contamination risk, resistant to virtually all process fluids including strong acids, bases and solvents.
Corrugated structure – The outer wall of the PTFE core is corrugated for maximum flexibility whilst maintaining pressure resistance up to 40 bar.
AISI 304 braided reinforcement – Mechanical protection and pressure resistance up to 40 bar working pressure and 160 bar burst pressure.
White silicone cover – Extruded pharmaceutical-grade silicone to protect the braid and ensure HACCP compliance (colour coding).
This DN38 hose is particularly suited to medium to high flow volumes in hygienic environments. Typical sectors include food and beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical process engineering and bioproduction. For industrial process lines and hygienic main pipework, the DN38 version offers the optimum balance between flow capacity and ease of installation.
For DN38 flanges (size 1½ inch (DN38), DIN 32676), use a standard Tri-Clamp gasket with 38,1 mm outer diameter. PTFE or EPDM gaskets are most common for food and pharmaceutical applications.
