AQMOS LESS-15 Water Softener

The AQMOS LESS-15 is a compact water softener for households up to 6 people, with a 53 cm height, perfect for kitchen cabinets or meter cupboards. It removes limescale, extends appliance lifespan, and simplifies cleaning. The sturdy housing with a removable lid contains a GRP pressure vessel with ion-exchange resin and serves as a salt reservoir (15 kg). A Clack DV volume-controlled valve ensures efficient operation. It softens 4500 liters per cycle at 7.5°dH water hardness.

Volume Control

The Clack DV valve monitors water consumption via a meter and schedules regeneration at 2:00 AM upon reaching the 4500-liter capacity. A safety reserve ensures lime-free water beyond the limit. The operation is tailored to water hardness and usage for medium-sized households.

Ion-Exchange Resin

The ion-exchange resin, charged with sodium ions, swaps calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions, producing soft water. The durable resin lasts over 20 years.

Regeneration

When saturated, the resin regenerates automatically with a salt solution from the reservoir. Calcium and magnesium ions are flushed out via a drain, and the resin is recharged. An optional Clack bypass or AQMOS mounting block (1") adds flexibility.

Forced Regeneration

If no soft water is used (e.g., during vacation), a mandatory regeneration occurs on day 10 to prevent resin contamination.

Salt Refill

The salt reservoir (15 kg) lasts 3-6 months, depending on water hardness and consumption. A safety float valve with a buoy prevents overflow.
