The AQMOS BMX-32 is a compact, advanced water softener for households up to 4 people, ideal for small spaces like meter cabinets due to its slim design and separate salt tank (max. 25 kg salt). The GRP pressure vessel contains high-quality ion-exchange resin and is equipped with an efficient BNT 1650 volume-controlled valve. It effectively removes limescale, extends appliance lifespan, and ensures shiny cleaning results.
The BNT 1650 valve monitors water consumption via an integrated meter and starts regeneration at 2:00 AM when the preset capacity is reached. A safety reserve ensures lime-free water beyond the limit. The volume-controlled operation is adjusted to water hardness and usage for households up to 4 people.
The ion-exchange resin, charged with sodium ions, swaps calcium and magnesium ions in hard water for sodium ions, producing soft water. The durable resin lasts over 20 years.
When saturated, the resin regenerates automatically with a salt solution from the separate tank. Calcium and magnesium ions are flushed out via a drain, and the resin is recharged with sodium ions. A bypass provides untreated water during regeneration.
If no soft water is used (e.g., during vacation), a mandatory regeneration occurs on day 10 to prevent resin contamination.
The separate salt tank (max. 25 kg) lasts 3-4 months, depending on water hardness and consumption. A safety float valve with a buoy prevents overflow.
