Fire hoses are primarily used to fight fires, but fire hoses have many other applications as well. They are widely used in industry, construction, offshore, refineries, agriculture, and water treatment for irrigation and horticultural systems.
Due to the Storz couplings with various NOK distances, different qualities, and available lengths, there is always a fire hose that suits your requirements or situation. The fire hoses can be connected to each other or to a tank or pump using Storz couplings. When connecting, the NOK distance of the Storz coupling is crucial. If your pump, tank, or existing fire hose has a Storz coupling with an NOK distance of, for example, 81mm, the Storz coupling on the fire hose must also have an NOK distance of 81mm. Our white, red, and black fire hoses are flat-rollable and therefore easy to store, especially our black 4-inch fire hose is highly popular.
Our white fire hose in 'Budget version' has a PVC inner wall and an outer wall of textile, making it suitable for light applications where the hose is not dragged much and is ideal for transporting water. The white fire hose has a variable maximum working pressure of 7-8 Bar, depending on the size of the fire hose. The fire hose can be used in a temperature range of -20°C to +65°C. This fire hose is supplied as standard with Storz couplings and is available in different lengths.
Our red fire hose in 'Standard version' has an EPDM inner wall and an outer wall of Polyurethane, making it suitable for heavier work while remaining flexible and lightweight. This red fire hose has a Polyurethane outer wall, making the hose more wear-resistant, flame-retardant, dirt-repellent, and resistant to rot. Furthermore, the outer wall ensures that the fire hose is ozone- and UV-resistant, weather- and aging-resistant, wear-resistant, pressure-resistant, and resilient, and resistant to mineral oils, gasoline, and lubricating greases. The red fire hose has a maximum working pressure of 12 Bar. The fire hose can be used in a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. This fire hose is supplied as standard with Storz couplings and is available in different lengths.
Our black fire hose in 'Premium version' has both an NBR inner and outer wall, making it suitable for very heavy work. The fire hose is very wear-resistant and has strong synthetic textile reinforcements. Due to the wear-resistant external ribs on the outer wall of the fire hose, it is very suitable for dragging if necessary. The fire hose is used as an air or water hose for transporting water, air, and other liquids. The strong outer wall provides wear resistance and high weather and aging resistance. The black fire hose has a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar and can be used in a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. This fire hose is supplied as standard with Storz couplings and is available in different lengths. The black 4-inch fire hose is widely used in agriculture and is highly sought after.
