Fire hoses are primarily used for firefighting, but they have many other applications. They are widely used in industry, construction, offshore operations, refineries, agriculture, and water treatment for irrigation and horticultural systems.
Thanks to Storz couplings with various NOK distances, different qualities, and available lengths, there is always a fire hose that meets your requirements or situation. Connecting the fire hoses to each other or to a tank or pump can be done using Storz couplings. When connecting, the NOK distance of the Storz coupling is crucial. If your pump, tank, or existing fire hose has a Storz coupling with an NOK distance of, for example, 81mm, then the Storz coupling on the fire hose must also have an NOK distance of 81mm. Our white, red, and black fire hoses can be rolled flat for easy storage, especially our black 4-inch fire hoses are highly sought after.
Our white fire hose in 'Budget' version has a PVC inner lining and an outer textile lining suitable for light applications where the hose is not dragged much and is ideal for water transport. It has a variable maximum working pressure of 7-8 Bar, depending on the size of the fire hose. The fire hose can be used in a temperature range of -20°C to +65°C. This fire hose is delivered as standard with Storz couplings and is available in various lengths.
Our red fire hose in 'Standard' version has an EPDM inner lining and a polyurethane outer lining suitable for heavier work while remaining flexible and lightweight. It has a polyurethane outer lining that makes the hose more abrasion-resistant, flame-retardant, dirt-repellent, and resistant to rot. Furthermore, the outer lining ensures that the fire hose is ozone and UV resistant, weather and age-resistant, abrasion-resistant, pressure-resistant, and resilient, and resistant to mineral oils, gasoline, and lubricating greases. It has a maximum working pressure of 12 Bar. The fire hose can be used in a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. This fire hose is delivered as standard with Storz couplings and is available in various lengths.
Our black fire hose in 'Premium' version has both NBR inner and outer linings suitable for very heavy-duty work. The fire hose is highly abrasion-resistant and has strong synthetic textile reinforcements. Due to the abrasion-resistant external ribs on the outer wall of the fire hose, it is very suitable for dragging if necessary. The fire hose is used as an air or water hose for transporting water, air, and other liquids. The strong outer lining provides wear resistance and high weather and age resistance. It has a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar and can be used in a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. This fire hose is delivered as standard with Storz couplings and is available in various lengths. The black 4-inch fire hose is widely used in agriculture and is in high demand.
